New pictures: Red-footed Falcon, Dunlin and Little Stint.
Nature photo of the month 1cy Red-footed Falcon Hovvig, Rörvig. Just like last year we had a roosting 1. cy Red-footed Falcon in Hovvig. Hot and sunny September wheater brings lot of dragon flies as the perfect food for the bird.

Nature photo of the month Tawny Owl hiding from the song birds. The local Blackbirds and Jay’s aggressive voices told me that an Owl was sitting close to our house. ISO 3200.
Four pictures of Wood Warbler added. Canon Mrk IV really shows its worth. Pictures are taken on a grey and cloudy day with 500 mm and 1,4 extender on 3200 ISO.

Nature photo of the month Chiffchaff catching insects, Korshage, Rörvig Denmark. The winter has been long and strong in Denmark this year. Here in early April the nature is still in winter cloth without any colours. The early migratory birds as Chiffchaffs has to search seriously for the food.

Breeding season in northern Scandinavia is fairly short and the first waders commence their return journey towards the end of June, with small numbers of Dunlins and Sanderlings. Honey Buzzard adult male. During the last week of April and the first week of May, tens- or maybe even hundred of tousands Honey Buzzards are passing Eilat Mountains on migrating.
