Pictures from my first autumn trip to Israel for 17 years. Lesser Spotted Eagles and birds from Bet Shean Valley was the targets for this trip.

Pictures from my tree weeks trip to South Island New Zealand. I visited Stewart Island and Kaikoura with the purpose to photograph seabirds – Albatrosses, petrels and shearwaters.
This was my 33th trip to Israel, but the first trip in winter. Kfar Rupin was the base for the first week and week two Tiberias. The gallery show bird pictures from the many fish ponds in Bet Shaen Valley and wintering birds from Hula Valley.
March and April is a great time for photographing migratory birds in southern Israel. This area is perfect for bird photography and the light in early morning and late afternoon is marvellous.
Late April and early May is the time for Honey Buzzard migration, but the weather condition was not the best. The wind did not come from North East and that means that only a few Honey Buzzard’s are passing over Eilat Mountains.
I spend tree weeks on Falklands for photographing birds and landscapes in Stanley, with trips to Volunteer Point and Kidney Island, on Carcass Island, WestPoint Island, The Neck on Saunders Island and on Sea Leon Island.
